Jehovah's Witnesses and the Lord's Evening Meal

Jesus therefore said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, It was not Moses that gave you the bread out of heaven; but my Father gives you the true bread out of heaven.

For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life unto the world." (John 6:32-33)

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes has eternal life.


"I am the bread of life.
Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died.
This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down out of heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: yea and the bread which I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world.

Now after listening to what Christ said about the bread of life which is offered up to give life to the eater, why would anyone reject this bread and pass it by without eating?
Yet, millions of Jehovah's Witnesses do! 
Why? Truly it is because of Watchtower doctrine. The members of the Watchtower Organization choose to listen to the words of their religious leaders rather than the words of Christ whom they claim they follow.
Their members are instructed to "Keep in Step with Jehovah's Organization!"
 
What happened to the phrase; Be Footstep followers of Christ? He was baptized and  ate and drank the bread and wine as did his disciples. If the members of the Jehovah's Witnesses are really following Christ, then they would be doing the same.
 
But they choose to listen to someone other than the one who died for them.
What ever will they reply to Christ when he asks, "Why say LORD LORD and you don't do the things I SAY?" (Luke 6:46)
 
Please consider what Christ said futher about the Bread which come from God:
 
"He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life: and I will raise him up at the last day" (John 6:54)
 
As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father; so he that eats me, he also shall live because of me. This is the bread which came down out of heaven: not as the fathers ate, and died; he that eats this bread shall live for ever. "He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me" Our heavenly Father gives us 'spirit', through the words he gave to Christ. If we seek God, we will be filled with his word, that is, his 'spirit'. Notice the scripture below:



" It is the spirit that gives life; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I have spoken unto you are spirit, and are life." (John 6:63)
 
 
Now friends, this is Christ's command to his followers!
compare:
(Matthew 28:20)

"Go therefore^[ and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; "
 
The wine represents Christ's blood which he shed for the world of mankind. Anyone who would reject Christ's blood, or who passes by the wine, will be judged. Remember, life is in the blood. ( Leviticus 17:11)
Notice what Apostle Paul said here:
(Hebrews 10:29)

"Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?

Compare John 12:48-

"Christ said, "He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day."

Friends, WAKE UP! Listen to Christ and do not listen to anyone who tells you, the bread and wine is not for you.
 

 
 
 

WHO HAS HOLY SPIRIT?

Who has Holy Spirit?

My answer is 'anyone who listens to the voice of God's Son Yeshua the Anointed.
Here is a scripture that supports my answer:
John 6:63:
Christ said,"It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the WORDS I SAY ARE
SPIRIT and are Life."

Are you filled with the spirit?, that is, the Words Christ spoke to his disciples and were told to "Go, make disciples, teach them 'all the things I told you to do".

Can you recall all of the things Christ instructed his disciples to do?

In judgement, Christ will stand before all of us and say:
"Why do you say Lord Lord and you do not do the things I say?
( Luke 6:46)
We cannot enter into the Kingdom unless we are 'Born of water and Spirit' :
(John 3:5) Christ said,"Truly truly I say to you, 'unless one is born of water and spirit he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God."

compare:( Matthew 19:14)'Let the children alone, do not hinder them from 'COMING TO ME, for the kingdom of Heaven ( of Yah) belongs to such as these."

Have you come to Christ? Listening to his voice is doing the will of GOD.

The Heavy Yoke!

Christ said:
(Matthew 11:28-30 )
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

How refreshing it is when one 'Comes to Christ', to listen and to follow his lead.
Many simply do not know how to 'come to God's son because they are so wrapped up into following religious leaders instead of Christ.
If you are part of a religion, then my advise to you is to make sure that what you are being taught is based upon the words of Christ. How would you know unless you have come to the scriptures to listen to all Christ's words. It is written that what ever Christ speaks is what God has put into his mouth, therefore, if you do what Christ says, you are truly doing 'the will of God.'
(John 14:24)

"He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me."

CALLED OUT OF DARKNESS

Few Jehovah's Witnesses believe they are called by God. Why is this? It is because of Watchtower doctrine.

Yet what do the scriptures say?

1 Peter 2:9
"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light"

So according to this scripture, only the those who are called by God are no longer in darkness.

And any person leaving the church is to be hated for leaving God, (according to the Watchtower leaders)
1 John 2:11
"But he that hates his brother is in darkness, and walks in darkness, and knows not where he goes, because that darkness has blinded his eyes."

LET THE WORD ABIDE IN YOU

Psalm 68:11
The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it. compare Acts 13:48

(John 5:24)
"verily, I say to you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."

(1 John 2:24)
Let that therefore abide in you, which you have heard from the beginning. (The WORD) If that which you have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, you also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father."

(John 8:31)
"Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If you continue in my word, then you are my disciples indeed;

The Watchtower still teaches it's members that Christ came invisibly in 1914 and that in the year 1919 he chose the Watchtower leaders because they were the only ones on the earth at the time of his inspection who were teaching true doctrine and were spiritually clean. Yet after examining what the Watchtower was teaching at that time, it is highly questionable that Christ had chosen them.

Christ rewards those who belong to him
( John 17:2-3)
"These things spoke Jesus; and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, Father, the hour is come; glorify your Son, that the son may glorify you even as you gave him authority over all flesh, that to all whom you have given him, he should give eternal life.
And this is life eternal, that they should know you the only true God, and him whom you did send, even Jesus Christ. "

While I was a Jehovah's Witness, I believed I did not belong to Christ. Why? Because the Gov Body teaches that only the literal number of 144,000 belong to Christ and that the blood covenant is for that number only.
Notice in the above scripture that God gives life to those who are given to Christ. So if the Great Crowd do not belong to Christ, how is it then that they get everlasting life? And how can anyone inherit without being a relative, that is, a brother or sister? (Matt 12:50)

Notice what is said in this scripture:
(John 3:34-36)
"For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God: for God gives not the Spirit by measure unto him. The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand.
He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him." see also (John 1:12-34)

FALSE DOCTRINE EXPOSED

Today, false doctrine is being exposed by those interested in Truth. More and more people are examining the doctrines they are taught in their church and taking the step of examining one's own religion, the first of many steps associated with finding the Truth which can only be found in the teachings of Christ.

After finding error, then many take the time to warn others as they expose the erroneous doctrines which do not come from Christ's teachings.

Ephesians 5:11
"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them."

Christ is the LIGHT. It is due time to expose darkness and help others to Come to the true light of 'The Word of God.
(John 8:12)
"Then spoke Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."

It is apparent that false shepherds can keep one from following the true shepherd.

1 John 1:5
"This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all."

The Spirit of God in Christ has taught us who we should listen to.
( Mark 9:7 )
"And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him."


(2 Timothy 2:24-26)
"And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will." see also 2 Thessalonians 2:4, Acts 18:6, 1 Timothy 6:20

The JW doctine : Who Really are Christ's brothers?

A Watchtower doctrine which divide it's members is the teaching; on who are Christ's brothers.
It is taught that 144,000 are Christ's brothers or sisters and only they are redeemed(saved);Holy ones, faithful and discreet and that only these 144,000 belong to Christ. The rest of the millions of Jehovah's Witnesses do not belong to Christ, are not Holy ones, neither faithful or discreet, and are not redeemed, and that God did not give them the New Covenant.
The other sheep class are assured they are doing God's will, yet they are taught they are not Christ's brothers nor do they belong to him.
The following scripture explains clearly who are Christ's brothers:
Matthew 12:50
Christ said,"anyone who does the will of my Father is the same my brother, sister and my mother."

Let us examine a few more scriptures to see whether or not the so called JW
'other sheep class' belong to Christ or not:
(John 13:3)
"Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands,
(John 16:15)
"All things that the Father has are mine".

(Matthew 24:45)
'Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
Did you notice they are 'his household'?
That denotes ownership.
1Peter 5:2-3
"Feed the 'flock of God' (ownership term) which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock." Yes, THE FLOCK OF GOD!

a. Notice the household belongs to God.
b. the flock of God is not to be lorded over.
c. feed the flock of God willingly, not for money
d. they are 'God's heritage

WHY MUST WE KNOW WHO BELONG TO CHRIST?
Notice what is written in the scripture;
John 17:1-3
"even as you gave him authority over all flesh, that

to all whom you have given him, he should give eternal life.

And this is life eternal, that they should know thee the only true God, and him whom thou didst send, even Jesus Christ.

My exit from the Watchtower teachings

Was the Watchtower Society Chosen by Jesus in 1919?

Leaving a religious organization is not the same as leaving God, unless that religion has, of course, become your God.
If you are one of Jehovah's Witnesses allow me to ask you a question;

You must know, all religious cults teach their members that they can only get life by being 'in their religion.'
What about the idea of being 'in Christ' to gain life?

And all religious cults teach their members that only they 'are the truth'. Only Christ has the authority to say that!
Jesus tells us:
(John 14:6)
"Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father, but by me."

Who is life? Who is the Truth? Who is the Light?
(John 8:12)
"Then spoke Jesus again to them, saying, "I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."

Question:
If Jesus is the LIGHT, then why would anyone need 'NEW LIGHT?' He remains the same.
Christ's words do not change it is men who error.

(1 Corinthians 15:22)
"For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive."

This scripture did not say, 'in the Watchtower you will be made alive' or by being in the Catholic religion or Mormon religion, no,
but rather 'in Christ', that is, in the word God gave him.
( Matthew 24:24 )
"For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."
Compare:
Mark 13:22
"For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, TO SEDUCE (into spiritual adultery), if it were possible, even the elect."
(2 Corinthians 3:14)
"But their minds were blinded: for until this day the same veil remains and is not taken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ."

This veil is not lifted by being in the Watchtower Organization or any other man made religious organization, but only if one is in the WORD; the sayings of Christ.
"If any religious organization predicts dates and then says these are God's dates and they do not come to pass, then one should not listen to it. It is a spirit of error.


RELIGION LAW
1. A member cannot expose error if one finds it in their religion
2. No questioning allowed and no doubting is allowed.
3. Only religious leaders have God's Spirit,only top elders can interpret the Bible.
4. Must accept all sect doctrines as TRUTH.
5. Put full trust in the elders (trusting in men)

BREAKING RELIGION LAW RESULTS IN:
Member then is dis-fellowshipped. (cut off or cast out)
Now separated from family and friends until he repents.
Yet, how can he repent if he has not committed an offense against God?

Isaiah 66:5
"Hear the word of the LORD, you that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed."

Psalm 25:20
"O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in you."
Psalm 35:26
Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonor that magnify themselves against me."

Psalm 119:78
"Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts."



The Watchtower instructs it's members to 'keep in step with the Watchtower'.
Really? Is this Biblical? We are instructed to follow in the footsteps of Christ!

(John 10:27)
"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me".

( Luke 6:46 )Christ said,
"And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Whom do you choose to follow?

Remember the warning of God:
Deuteronomy 18:19
"And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hear unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him."

1 John 2:28
"And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

Yes, Christ will appear at his coming!
Yet in whose glory will he appear and in whose name?
Notice what the scripture says here:
( Mark 8:38 )
"Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels."

The doctrine of God in Christ

How did did this man become the son of God?
(Luke 1:35)speaking to Mary, the angel said:
"The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy offspring shall be called the Son of God."

At Christ's baptism:
The Spirit of God came from heaven in the form of a Dove, and then came upon Christ, taking on the form of a man, Jesus Christ. And it was then, God, in Christ, reconciled the world to himself

Consider this scripture:
Matthew 3:16
"And Jesus, having been baptized, went up straightway from the water, and lo, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon him" and behold, a voice out of the heavens saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I have found
my delight."

God glorified his Son

Please consider a few scriptures:

(John 4:24)
"God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."

Ephesians 4:32
"Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you."

Philippians 3:14
"I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."

2 Corinthians 5:19
"namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation."
(Romans 8:39)
"Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

(Deuteronomy 18:18-19) God speaking to Moses:"I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him." ( judgment )

Are Watchtower publication prepared under the spirit's guidance?

A Watchtower quote

"We will also increase our joy if we prayerfully and diligently study God's spirit-inspired Word and Christian publications prepared under the spirit's guidance." - Watchtower 1992 Mar. 15 pp.21-22

An elder once told me, "The Bible was not written for you" but he left off the words "to privately interpret."
In other words, one cannot understand the Bible without the Watchtower's guidance.
IS THE REALLY SO?
One might wonder, then, if all it's articles are written under God's spirit, do we find so many errors? And when brought to the editors' attention, the errors are rewritten so as to make corrections and then these corrections are called, "NEW LIGHT." What became of the 'old light', you know, THE LIGHT THEY SAID WAS FROM GOD? did it wane away into Darkness? It was never light to begin with! Then it was a lie.

Isaiah 5:20
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

One might wonder, 'how many members of this religion were cast out because they raised questions about erroneous teachings they were being fed by the 'so called', 'faithful and discreet slave class?' We all make mistakes, this is true, but it is another thing how we treat one another.

God's spirit does not error, but man cannot guide his own step.

1 Thessalonian 2:2-4
"we were bold in our God to speak to you the gospel of God in much conflict. For our exhortation did not come from error or uncleanness, nor was it in deceit.
But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts."

Words from a disciple of Christ:
1 John 4:6
"We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error."

The above scripture is an excellent measuring stick, so to speak.

The Watchtower's 'Closed Door Doctrine

Not only did the Jehovah's Witnesses accept the 'Closed Door doctrine, but
also the Seventh Day believers. One might wonder how anyone, who has claimed to
have God's Holy Spirit, could teach Christ's sheep a 'closed Door Doctrine'.
This doctrine did not come from Christ.
(John 10:9)
Christ said," I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved,

I left, mainly because of their closed door doctrine, I learned later the
Watchtower editors decided the 'heavenly door was opened after all.'
Really? Well then, who gives these magazine writers the authority to decide for
millions whether or not the heavenly door is open to them or not?
Or....who gave them authority to decide whether or not a person qualifies
to enter that door?
And for that matter, what gives any religious group the authority to decide who
qualifies to be a saint (or holy one)in the body of Christ? Isn't that left up to
God? Isn't it God who is our judge?
What does Christ have to say on this matter?

( John 12:47 )
"If anyone hears My sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world."

No one should judge another person, or condemn them, but one can discern whether or not a doctrine is from God or not and if not, then we should pray for those who are in error.

Luke 6:37
" Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will
not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned."

Wasn't it Christ who said,"forgive them Father for they do not know the things
they do."?

We should be listening to Christ and following his ways. Yes, I came to the conclusion that I should ask God to forgive the elders who have judged me as unrighteous.
(Matthew 6:14)
" For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you."
God is Love so we should be modeled after our heavenly Father.

Jehovah's Witnesses sincerely want to serve God

While out in the 'field service, [ going door to door with the Watchtower literature] I truly believed I was doing a service for God. I loved meeting people, although there were some who were down right hateful, but for the most part, the majority were patient and kind. Some householders offered to pray with me. Yet I wonder, after leaving their doorstep, how many had prayed for me? This is what the Jehovah's Witnesses and the Mormon youths need most, they need your prayers!

The average Jehovah's Witness are convinced they have 'the truth', that it makes it very difficult to penetrate their belief barrier. I know because I was one of them.
Yet, prayer is our most powerful tool because only God, by Holy Spirit, can open ears and open eyes to the true word of God and too, he can close them.
Deut 29:4-" Yet the LORD has not given you a heart to perceive and eyes to see and ears to hear, to this very day. [see also Psalm 40:6; Romans 11:8; 2 Tim 4:3, 2 Tim 4:4]

There is only one way to the Father. Jesus said "I am THE WAY.
And there is only One source of TRUTH, Christ said,"I AM THE TRUTH and there is only one way to LIFE, Jesus said, "I am LIFE", no one comes to the Father except through me."
See John 14:6
How does a person go through Christ in order to 'come to the Father?
Jesus said,"I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved,"

The Reasons I disassociated myself from the Watchtower Society

I was born and raised a Jehovah's Witness. Most of my life was dedicated to it's agenda. The Watchtower expects it's members to 'keep in step with 'Jehovah's Organization.' They did not say,"keep in step with Christ". And yet, the Watchtower publications make it's members believe they are foot step followers of Christ. Is there a difference?
And just because a following calls itself God's Organization doesn't necessarily mean that it is.
Matthew 24:24-
"For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect."

Luke 17:22-24-"Then He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. And they will say to you, ‘Look here!’ or ‘Look there!’ Do not go after them or follow them. For as the lightning that flashes out of one part under heaven shines to the other part under heaven, so also the Son of Man will be in His day."

In other words, no one will need to tell people Christ has returned because his return will be extremely obvious, just as lightening that flashes out of one part of under heaven shines to the other part under heaven.

Did anyone see any sign of Christ's return in 1914?
The Watchtower Society teach it's members Christ returned in 1914 and then in 1919 Christ chose them because they were doing an outstanding job giving Christ's household spiritual enriching food at the proper time.

Here is a sample of the 'spiritual food' the Watchtower Society fed it's members in the past during those years Christ was said to have rewarded them for their excellent work.
